REPORT OF ACTIVITIES DURING 21 APRIL 2014 – 20 MAY 2014


  1. In Commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary our centre organised two youth conventions in collaboration with two other organisations at Bamanpukur Village in Sundarban area and in Kolkata on 25 April 2014 and 03 May 2014 respectively.

    Our centre also organised a cultural programme at the ashrama premises in the evening of 06 May 2014.

    These programmes were principally funded by the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, Govt. of West Bengal. Altogether 1,350 (300+400+650) people of which most of them were youths, attended these programmes.

  2. A public meeting was organised in the evening of 14 May 2014, the day of Buddha Purnima. The secretary addressed the gathering highlighting the views of Swami Vivekananda on Buddha. In total 700 people attended the programme.

  3. At the initiative of our centre one devotees’ convention and three public meetings were organised by different institutions in and around Kolkata on 27, 30 April, 01 and 11 May 2014. All in total 1,400 (500, 250, 300, 350) people participated in these programmes.
